S#!+ Outta Luck

sol files

The S#!+ Outta Luck segment is where we put to test the theory, according to comic lore, that tragedy plus time equals humor. Topics range from some of our own Statute of Limitation confessions, bits of broadcast/podcast outtakes, and long-lost stories.

We all know unique moments that become too sticky to forget, stories that should have become lost but remain with us all this time later. Or it wasn’t so long ago, and we just must share it. Memory holds on to these for many varied reasons and everyone has some retention of specific life events. There are many moments of learning, achievement, and comradery that we recall favorably. Falling under the umbrella we like to call living the dream if we are lucky. These segments of life we go to help drive us forward.

Life is a long thing, filled with memories and stories that may in time need to be confessed, not just because confession is good for the soul, but because of the times they are too entertaining not to share. We put to test the theory that tragedy plus time equals humor, it could be decades, or it could be a day.

Now and then we have events that are not so lucky, those SOL moments in life that are not so inspiring but when using the age-old equation of funny (tragedy + time = humor) are now remembered fondly.
